A 12-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after suffering a head injury in a crash.
Emergency services were called to Longspring, Watford, after a collision involving a boy riding a bicycle and a Toyota Aygo.
It happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday, October 1.
A witness told the Watford Observer it “wasn’t a good situation at all”, adding: “Luckily a doctor was on scene so we left him to it.
“This was about 5.45pm. And the poor boy was quite badly hurt from what I could see.”
However, this morning (October 3) a Herts Police spokesperson said: “The boy was taken to hospital for assessment to a head injury, which was not believed to be serious at the time.
“Follow-up enquiries will be carried out to establish the circumstances around the collision.”
No one has been arrested.
