A prolific wine thief has again dodged prison after stealing while serving a suspended sentence - due to "the prospect of rehabilitation”.
Jenna Leigh Harris, of Lincoln Drive in South Oxhey, was fined £20 and given a community order on September 29 after she admitted the breach.
The 52-year-old was also ordered to pay £199 in costs and a victim’s surcharge and £13.65 in compensation.

She admitted to four thefts from a Co-op as well as being drunk and disorderly in public, while serving a suspended sentence.
It was not activated due to the “prospect of rehabilitation and strong personal mitigation”, court documents state.
Harris has already served multiple jail terms for thefts from shops and assault, including a 20-week stint from March this year.
In October last year, the court used the same reasoning not to activate a sentence, suspended for 15 months, after she stole wine, sweets and crisps from a Tesco.
