Road closures were in place as a man near an underground station was rushed to hospital.
Emergency services were quick to react after reports of a man requiring assistance near Croxley Station today, September 26.
The incident was dealt with in under half an hour after 2.30pm as the A412 leading to the station was cordoned off and the man was rushed to Watford General Hospital.
It is understood that he experienced a “medical episode” and an ambulance, two ambulance officer vehicles and a rapid response vehicle were called.

An off-duty firefighter at the scene provided first aid until crews arrived.
An eyewitness said there was traffic “chaos” during the initial response as police also arrived to assist with the situation.
The man was taken to Watford General Hospital for further assessment.
