Burglars broke in through a window and ransacked a home before taking "suicases of stolen stuff" including an engagement ring.
The property in Water Lane, Kings Langley, was targeted on Friday night (September 23) at around 11.10pm.
Police have confirmed they are investigating the burglary and said the ring and two games consoles were among the stolen items.

The victim has said there is doorbell camera footage of the thieves during the break in.
They also claim they got in through a window and left through the front door at 11.12pm, before walking towards the canal.
There is then "reason to believe" they got in a vehicle.
