Generous Watford people raised £20,000 for people affected by the floods in Pakistan.
The event, which took place at the Hilton in Watford on September 11, was organised by Labour councillor Asif Khan.
Funds raised will go to the charity Penny Appeal to distribute the money to help the 33 million people affected by floods.

Cllr Khan said: “The evening was positive, and attendees pledged anything between £10 to £2,000.
“But it was also sombre because of the Queen’s death.
“The Queen would never have wanted the fundraiser to be cancelled - she supported charities.
“So we included a book of condolence to commemorate the Queen and for people to pay their respects.”
Around 100 people attended the event, including Mayor Peter Taylor.
