A bus operator says splitting up a service that currently runs from Watford town centre to Buckinghamshire 'will improve reliability'.
Arriva will be making changes to the 500 bus that runs from Watford High Street to Aylesbury Bus Station in Buckinghamshire.
As of October 30, the route will only run between Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury, with a new 508 service being introduced by Arriva from Hemel Hempstead to Mount Vernon, via Watford.

An Arriva spokesperson said the route was split to “help the reliability of the service”.
They said: “By splitting the service, we can improve the reliability of each leg, in turn this also allows us to provide new links from South Watford to Hemel Hempstead.
“There will be opportunities to change onto the connecting service for those passengers who are crossing Hemel Hempstead.”
