A crime map has revealed which streets in Watford recorded burglaries during the first six months of 2022.
Data published on the police.uk website gives communities an insight into the numbers and types of offences taking place where they live.
In Watford, there were 169 burglaries recorded on the map between January and June of this year.
The reports were spread across the borough, with the most recorded in the North Watford region with 63, followed by 62 in the outer region, which covers the west of the town and Oxhey.
The map is populated with data provided by Hertfordshire Constabulary, although not all crimes can be shown, so it is possible some of the burglaries that have occurred have not been recorded on the map.
The number of burglaries recorded on the map in the first six months of this year (169) is higher than the 125 recorded in the first six months of 2021. There were 148 burglaries recorded in the second-half of 2021.
We have created a table that shows every street in Watford where at least one burglary has been reported on the police.uk map for the first six months of 2022 (which is how far the data goes up to so far). In some streets, multiple burglaries have occurred.
Hertfordshire Constabulary offers a host of advice for residents on how to keep their homes and property safe.
