The following announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week: Raymond Harry ‘Ray’ Andrews – 07.09.30 – 29.08.22 – Passed away peacefully at The Peace Hospice. He was a much loved member of Christ Church and also of The Watford Talking Newspaper for the Blind. A much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad and Great-Granddad who will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
COOPER Helen – Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday 31st August 2022, peacefully at her home. Beloved wife of Jack, mother, grandmother, sister and loving friend. She will be greatly missed by all.
Costello Richard James – It is with deep sadness; we announce the death of our dear brother who passed away on 23rd August, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Sadly missed by his brothers John and Tery and all of his family.
LOSE Malcolm Thomas – Passed away aged 65 on 28th August 2022 after a short illness. Greatly missed by his brother David and friends.
Joan Maureen Richards – 31/3/1928 – 23/8/2022 – Joan passed away peacefully at the age of 93. A kind and strong spirited woman, she will always be loved, and never forgotten.
SMYTH Eileen Theresa – Sadly passed away on 22nd August 2022, aged 97 years. Eileen was much loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
TAYLOR John Bertie Ronald Gervase ‘Big John’ – Sadly passed away on Friday 19th August 2022, aged 75 years. Reunited with his beloved wife Cathleen. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
TURLEY Geraldine (nee Curley of Mullagh, Galway, Ireland) – Passed away peacefully on Sunday 28th August 2022, at Watford General Hospital, aged ninety-two (92) years. She will be greatly missed by her children, Damien, Gerald, Jean & Des, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchild, nieces and nephews.
Winfield Jean Margaret – Passed away peacefully on Monday 22nd August 2022 aged 85 years. Reunited with her beloved Husband Gordon. A much loved mum of Brian, Craig and Brett. Grandmother and sister, she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
