Proposals from a school and a Hertfordshire Football Club to install artificial pitches are among the planning applications submitted to Watford, Three Rivers, Hertsmere and Dacorum councils.
Queens' School has applied to Hertsmere Borough Council for permission to construct a 3G synthetic pitch with perimeter fencing and floodlighting.
Further afield but within driving distance of Watford, Tring Athletic FC has submitted plans with Dacorum Borough Council to replace its existing pitch with a new 3G/4G playing surface.
These applications are among those validated by Watford, Three Rivers and Dacorum councils in the week beginning September 5, while our comprehensive list also features those applications lodged with Hertsmere Borough Council for the week ending September 2.
