Hi, I’m Bruce, a nervous two-year-old boy looking for a new home. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust three weeks ago when my owner’s circumstances changed. I’m really not enjoying my time in the cattery and urgently need to find a calm home and gentle owner.
I’m a good boy but I’m not showing the best of my personality as I’m so stressed and worried. I’m spending a lot of time in my nice cosy bed where I feel safe, but I do like to watch everyone as they walk past. I’m very interested in people and would like to make friends but I’m not quite brave enough yet.
Rescue centre staff say I’m very sweet, I enjoy a head rub from people I trust and can be quite chatty when you sit with me. I’m a bit too frightened to play with toys but I do like to nibble on treats that are put in front of me.
I’m looking for a patient, understanding owner who’ll allow me to settle in at my own pace. It would be good if they’re experienced with cats so they’re aware when I need my own space. I’d like a quiet home with adults or teenagers as little children scare me where I’m the only pet. I’d like a garden to explore once my confidence grows.
I really hope I find my new home and family soon. If it could be you email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2).
