A drug dealer has been jailed for more than two years after police found cocaine in a vehicle he was driving.
Balaal Imran, 38, of Clarendon Road, Watford was jailed following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
Isleworth Crown Court heard how on April 16 2021, Imran was stopped while driving in Coldharbour Lane in Hayes, west London.
Police say a search of the black Mercedes uncovered cocaine in the driver’s side compartment before more of the Class A drug was found in a “hide” by the steering wheel.
Cash totalling £520 was also found in the centre console of the car.
Imran was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of criminal property.
Imran was found guilty and in court on August 24, he was given a prison sentence of 30 months.
