Bus operator Arriva will be operating with a limited service in Hertfordshire as 900 workers strike – here is everything you need to know.
There will be “severe disruptions” across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire during the strikes taking place today (September 5) and tomorrow (September 6).
Unite regional officer Jeff Hodge has pinned the action on Arriva for offering “a pay cut disguised as a rise”.
Will routes still be running?

What about ArrivaClick?
Some may wish to make use of Watford’s on-demand minibus service during this time – however Arriva says that it will not be available during the strikes.
What has Arriva said?
Arriva has stated it “remains committed” to resolving the strike and continues to encourage Unite to ballot on the latest pay offer.
A statement reads: “We will continue to keep our customers and stakeholders updated, we apologise for the inconvenience this will cause across the region, particularly as our schools return for a new academic year.”
