Police have provided an update after a woman approached people in a hospital allegedly pretending to be a doctor.
The women’s and children’s building at Watford General Hospital was shut on August 12 following reports of a woman behaving suspiciously.
When questioned, the woman fled.
Hertfordshire Constabulary previously told the Watford Observer that a woman in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of impersonating a doctor and was released on bail.

More than three weeks since the incident, police have now confirmed that no charges have been made and that the suspect is nearing the end of her police bail of Thursday (September 8).
The force says that an investigation is ongoing into the reports of a person impersonating a doctor at the hospital.
