The following announcements were carried in the Watford Observer last week:

Bloore (nee Hine) Barbara Ursula Audrey – Sadly passed away Thursday, 19th May 2022, aged 93 years. Barbara, the widow of the late John William James Bloore, was born, grew up and lived in Watford before moving away to Cornwall and later to Buckinghamshire. She is greatly missed as a mother, a sister, a grandmother, an aunt, as a friend.

Peter John Charters – of Carpenders Park (formerly Harrow and Hatch End) on Thursday 4th August 2022 at Watford General Hospital aged 84 years. Beloved husband of Ann and elder brother of Robin (deceased), Anthony (deceased), Jeremy, Sarah and Daphne. Greatly missed by all his family and friends.

ELKINGTON Richard John – 24th October 1946 – 21st July 2022. You will be forever in our thoughts, remembering your smile, warmth and sense of humour. So sorry that we were unable to say goodbye. Sleep tight Dad. With love from Rachel, Sharon & families xxxx Audrey Ellen Goodwin – Sadly passed away on 16th August aged 97 years. Audrey was a much loved Mum, Nan and friend and will be missed greatly by all her family and friends.

Carmel Theresa Murray (nee Burns) – Passed away on 12th August 2022 aged 64 years. She was the much loved wife of Eugene for 40 years, sister to Julian and Adrian, and proud mother to Christopher, Benjamin, Francis, Jonathan and Roisin, as well as aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by family, friends and colleagues, on all of whom she had a great influence and positive effect.
