The council’s cost of living support page offers guidance on receiving government payments.
This includes a cost of living payment for those entitled to certain benefits or tax credits, a winter fuel payment, or help with paying rents on low incomes.

The credit union offers help with savings and low interest rate loans for members who live or work in the WD postcode area and can help make existing debts manageable.

People referred to the charity, including self-referrals, can talk in confidence with a volunteer and receive temporary food deliveries and long-term support.
The housing association offers financial inclusion officers who can give tenants free advice on money and benefits.
