A man on the tracks of a Hertfordshire station has died, police have confirmed.
Trains faced major delays during the Bank Holiday Monday, August 29, after reports of emergency services responding to an incident between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central.
The British Transport Police has now explained that a man had died on the tracks at Hemel Hempstead railway station.

Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service were called at 7.51am to reports of a casualty.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Paramedics also attended, however, sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
