Future Academies Watford is "extremely proud" of its students after it achieved its best ever GCSE results.
The school celebrated its success on Thursday, August 25, the day GCSE students across the country received their results.
Its principal Deborah Warwick spoke to Watford Observer about the students’ hard work.

She said: “Future Academies Watford is celebrating its best ever GCSE results; these also exceed the teacher-assessed grades of last year.
“We are extremely proud of all our students; they have worked hard and overcome the challenges of the past couple of years.
“We wish our Year 11 students all the best for their futures.”
One of its students, Daria Telega, 16, achieved three grade eights, five grade sevens and two grade fives.
Daria, from the Meriden estate, said: “I was a bit panicked because I doubted myself, but I am really happy with my results.”
She plans to study government and politics, media and art at the school.
Sam Bennett, 16, is one of the academy's highest attaining students with results that included a grade nine in physics.
He said: “I was feeling good when I opened them, but I was nervous.
“When I did open them, the nervousness soon turned to excitement.
“I am really pleased.”
Sam will be staying at the academy to do his A-levels.
