Hundreds of free tickets for Hertfordshire tourist attractions and activities can be won as an annual project returns.
The Herts Big Weekend project by the Visit Herts tourism board has been rebranded as a ‘Big Day Out’, allowing ticket holders to explore the county at no extra cost.
These include sites near to Watford such as the Harry Potter Warner Bros Studios Tour in Leavesden, as well as venues further afield such as Aubrey Park Hotel, Crossover Blendery, Down Hall Hotel and Spa and Paradise Wildlife Park.

With a variety of activities to visit, ticket holders will be able to redeem their days out between September 17 and October 14.
Residents can apply for as many pairs of tickets as they like by visiting hertsbigdayout.co.uk until September 6.
Two tickets per household will be allocated at random by ballot and winners will be notified via email.
