A woman has been left scared to live at home after catching a man with “his face pressed against the glass” of her bedroom window.
In May she moved to a ground-floor flat in Railway Terrace, Kings Langley, but in the first two weeks had a “couple of incidents”.
They reportedly involved a man looking through the kitchen window between 11.30pm and 1am, but after her boyfriend saw him the second time he ran off.
In a social media post, the unnamed woman, who lives alone, claims it happened again at the same time on Friday, August 19.

She wrote: “This time [it was] the bedroom window, which had the blind down anyway.
“We only realised when we saw a shadow and when we lifted the blind his face was pressed against the glass.
“I’m rather scared and now do not want to live there.
"Cameras are being fitted today and my boyfriend will be staying for the immediate future."
Police confirmed the man was challenged on each occasion and ran off.
The man is described as being white, around 5ft 7in tall, aged between 20 and 40 years old, with dark hair which is possibly thinning.
He was wearing dark clothing on each occasion.
Enquiries are ongoing and information can be reported via 101, quoting crime reference 41/67754/22.
The woman urged anyone who has experienced anything similar to get in touch.
“It all happens so quickly and fear kicks in [so] that it’s quite hard to recall too much information,” she wrote.
