There has been more disappointment as students’ art was again targeted and replaced with obscene graffiti.
A refurbishment of the A405 underpass, near Horseshoe Lane, included an initiative to display artwork by students from local schools.
Councillor Stephen Cavinder found artwork by Parmiters students had been pulled out of the frames yesterday and one frame was damaged.

The art was then replaced with graffiti.
The councillor said: “I was really disappointed to see that these pieces of art have been defaced and I remember being with the students when they saw the art had gone up and they were really proud.
“I was really happy for them.
“Obviously the art will be replaced, though one of the frames has been damaged, but it may take a little while.”
Cllr Cavinder also encouraged anyone who has information on who defaced the art to report it to the police.
In May, some of the frames explaining where the art had come from were drawn over and stickers were put on the frames.
