Commuters in Watford wishing to travel by tube are likely to find difficulty getting into London.
Transport for London (TfL) says that the Metropolitan Line has no service today due to strike action, while the London Overground has a reduced service not serving to Watford Junction.
Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) workers are taking industrial action over issues including jobs and pensions.
The Abbey line is also facing unexpected delays this morning with all lines blocked between St Albans Abbey and Watford Junction due ot a "local operational issue".
It is expected to be resolved by 11.30am.

Mainline train services started later than normal on Friday due to the knock-on effect of Thursday’s RMT strike at Network Rail and train operators across the country.
Just 70% of services will run across Friday as a whole.
A further walkout on Saturday will reduce service levels to 20% with both the London Northwestern and Avanti West Coast operating on a limited timetable.
The National Rail advises that people only travel If “absolutely necessary” on Saturday.
