Watford town centre has been hit by violence in recent weeks with the mayor even launching a petition for more police in High Street.
Among the reported crimes were stabbings, a fight involving a machete, a serious shopping trolley attack and a woman being punched unconscious.
For those who may have missed some, we’ve compiled them below.
Teenager ‘stabbed’ after groups clash
A teenager is believed to have been stabbed during a fight between two groups in Watford town centre on Sunday, August 14.
Police were called to reports of the row in The Parade at 3.02am during which a 19-year-old man suffered a suspected stab wound.
He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and possession of cannabis before being released on bail.
'Machete fight'
Armed police were called to Watford town centre after reports of a group fight involving a machete that left a man with a slashed foot.
It happened in High Street at around 5pm on Tuesday, August 16, following which the injured man was taken to hospital.
Three men, aged between 18 and 22, were arrested and charged with affray and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Train station violence
Supporters of Watford and Burnley were said to be involved in a large fight at Watford Junction after their game last Friday (August 12).
An eyewitness said there were around 200 fans present, while the British Transport Police said a "large group" was involved before one man was arrested.
BTP have today confirmed that Lee Nolan, 34, of Netherfield Gardens in Lancashire, has been charged with trespassing on the railway.
A BTP spokesperson confirmed no one else has been arrested but enquiries are ongoing. There were no reports of any injuries.
Taxi attack
A woman was allegedly punched unconscious and robbed by a taxi driver after a Watford night out on Sunday, July 31.
She claimed he acted “erratically” after hearing her and a friend needed to withdraw cash, and after stopping near Tesco Express in St Albans Road he hit her.
The 26-year-old regained consciousness after several seconds but the man allegedly rummaged through her bag and took her phone before driving off.
She later slammed police’s “demoralising” response claiming they treated her “like I was a drunk person on the street”.
No one has been arrested.
Trolley attack
A man had his hip broken after he was attacked with a shopping trolley in New Street on Sunday, July 10.
It happened near the multi-storey care park between 5am and 6.30am, following which two boys aged 13 and 14 were arrested on suspicion of GBH.
The 13-year-old was also detained in connection with an assault in High Street at 5am the same morning in which a man was beaten and kicked.
He and another boy were arrested on suspicion of affray.
Teenager stabbed
Police were hunting for a teenager after an 18-year-old was stabbed in the Charter Place area on the evening of July 19.
The young man was found with a stab wound in the high street and treated by YMCA hostel staff members and Atria Watford security until paramedics arrived.
His injuries were described as not life-changing, but police said they were conducting “extensive enquiries” to trace the attacker.
No one has been arrested.
