The Grange Academy in Bushey achieved a 99% A-level pass rate this year.
Its most successful subjects were art, which had a 100% A* to B pass rate, PE, which had a 64% A* to B pass rate and physics, which had a 67% A* to B pass rate.
Of the 75 students who sat their A-levels this year, seven pupils have places at the Russell Group universities, including King’s College London and Nottingham University.

Academy Principal Dr Philip Hills said: "This year the group have shown great resilience with Covid and great character to emerge with a very creditable set of grades.
"We are proud of each and every one of them."
He added: “The sixth form at The Grange was rated ‘good’ in the last inspection and is going from strength to strength with a record number of external applicants and more of our own pupils than ever staying on to study A-levels.
“There is a real buzz about the place.”
