Firefighters are tackling a 4,000 square metre fire that has been ripping through woodland since the early hours of this morning.
A large area of trees and shrubland have been alight in Oxhey Woods since about 5.40am when the fire service received reports of smoke.
A spokesperson said crews are “making steady progress” with four fire engines currently at the scene.
