- The driver along with a member of staff, who was not in the vehicle, were injured and taken to the hospital's emergency department
- The driver, who had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped, remains in A&E. The pedestrian has been discharged.
- The collision has been described by the trust as an 'accident'
- One person described the initial situation as 'chaos'
- The fire service assessed the damage to the building, which is used for office work
- Police were investigating the cause of the collision
- The hospital said there were no disruptions to its services
