A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after they were involved in a crash in Watford this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on the A41 Colne Way at 6.50am today (August 11).
Police say it involved a van and a motorbike and it happened on the eastbound carriageway between the junctions of Westlea Avenue and the exit slip road for the M1 at the Berrygrove roundabout.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says the biker has been taken to hospital after they were suspected to have sustained serious injuries.
The A41 was temporarily closed while emergency services dealt with the situation.
The bike has since been recovered and the road has reopened.

The incident caused ‘long delays’ during this morning’s rush hour, according to Hertfordshire Highways, with queues reported on the A41, on approaches into the Dome Roundabout, and in Stephenson Way out of Watford.
All of the traffic delays had cleared by around 9am.
