- A lorry fire left the M25 at a standstill this morning (August 10)
- The fire broke out at around 6.40am on the clockwise carriageway between junction 18 for Rickmansworth and 19 for Watford sending thick smoke into the sky
- Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue sent five fire engines to the scene and put the fire out by 8am
- No one was injured but the entire lorry is thought to have been destroyed
- One lane remains closed and is likely to be repaired overnight.
