A driver had to be rescued after their vehicle overturned on a motorway.
It happened on the southbound carriageway of the M1 just before 7am on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to reports that a vehicle had smashed through a barrier and come to a rest on its roof just after junction 6 for Bricket Wood.
Firefighters from Garston and Hemel Hempstead worked to free a man from the vehicle and he was later taken to hospital to be assessed.

The motorway was closed southbound while emergency services worked at the scene, reopening at by 8.45am.
The closure caused traffic delays in the area. No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision.
Hertfordshire Constabulary later confirmed a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and driving over the alcohol limit.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
