Hertfordshire’s largest LGBT+ pride event, including its popular dog show, is set to return to Watford this month.

The popular Herts Pride dog show is also returning, including categories of ‘waggiest tail’, ‘most appealing eyes’ and ‘rescue dog’, among others.
The event is from 12pm to 10pm, and the dog show will take place from 2pm to 3pm.
Tyson Martin, chair of Hertfordshire Pride Society, said: “2022 is a special year, and as a Watfordian, I am delighted that Herts Pride celebrates its tenth event at Cassiobury Park in the year Watford celebrates its centenary as a borough council.
“It also marks the 50th anniversary of the first official UK Pride march which was held in London on 1 July, 1972.”
Tickets cost £13.75 for adults, £8.25 for 13 to 17-year-olds, and under 13s get in free.
