People with south Asian background in Watford can get together to share and promote their cultures with the launch of a new heritage group.
Last Thursday, July 28, charity One Vision launched the South Asian Heritage Association with an event discussing the area's history and culture as well as ways to work together and build trust.
One Vision Founder and CEO Enoch Kanagaraj said:"One Vision launched SAHA to bring diverse mix of voices to lead to better discussions, decisions, and outcomes for everyone.

"There is lot to be done to make everyone equal in our community."
Councillor Asif Khan said: "I welcome the great work of One Vision, which has set up the much needed South Asian Heritage Association.
"It is a way in which people can learn from one another and make the town even more inclusive."
The event, at the Stanborough Centre, was attended by Dean Russell MP, Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor who both said they look forward to supporting the association as patrons.
South Asian countries include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, The Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
