- A person has died after they were hit by a train on a railway line this morning
- Emergency services were called to the Leighton Buzzard area shortly before 9am (July 28)
- The British Transport Police has confirmed a person died. The death is not being treated as suspicious
- All lines were closed between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central, including via Watford Junction
- National Rail said lines reopened by mid-morning but there have been delays and cancellations as a result of lines being shut throughout the day
- Passengers travelling on London Northwestern Railway and Avanti West Coast services are affected with disruption lasting until at least 7pm, National Rail says.
