A sweets delivery business is set to reopen under new management just over a week after customers were told its last delivery had been made.
Sugar Rush Confectionary Watford, which delivers pick ‘n’ mix to people’s homes, told people last Friday: “We are now closed and have done our last delivery to you all.
“Thank you for your custom over the last five years.”
It went on to say it “will be back very soon with a new branch owner”.
Then yesterday Sugar Rush posted online: “Great news Sugar Rush is back! My name is Bradley and I am pleased to say I have taken over and that I will be delivering from this Friday (29th July).”
It says there will initially be a reduced menu based on favourites but the business will do its best to accommodate other requests.
Over a hundred customers welcomed the news with one commenting “saved by Bradley”, while another wrote “phewww”.
Sugar Rush Confectionery dubs itself a “takeaway with a twist” and delivers sweets UK-wide.
