Month-long roadworks starting today have already caused delays after a 200-yard queue formed on a busy road.
Temporary traffic lights were placed at Rickmansworth Road at the junction of Hagden Lane and Metropolitan Station Approach yesterday (July 25).
Motorists have been advised to plan ahead and expect delays.
The temporary lights are expected to stay there until August 26 to enable work to take place on signals at the junction.
