A board outside a church was vandalised with religious graffiti and a symbol that could depict satanism.
The sign outside St James Road Baptist Church in West Watford was graffitied with words including “Islam” and “Allah”, as well as the church name crossed out.
An eyewitness who captured an image after spotting it on Sunday afternoon (July 17) said: “Not what we want to see in our town.”

The board also had an inverted cross, which is known as the Cross of Saint Peter but can also be used as a satanic symbol.
The church has been approached for comment about the vandalism, and Hertfordshire Constabulary has been contacted to see if the matter is being investigated.
