A survey has shown which doctor’s surgeries are best and worst for booking appointments after hundreds of GPs apologised for waits.
The 2022 GP Patient Survey for NHS England shows where patients are happiest with the service their GP provides.
Last month, more than 200 GPs nationwide apologised in an open letter as waiting times continue to rise.

Among surgeries in and around Watford, Abbotswood Medical Centre patients, in Abbots Langley, had the best experience of booking appointments, followed by Suthergrey House and South Oxhey Surgery.
Patients recorded that it was easy to get through on the phone, with the GP ranking 2nd for this, after Suthergrey House in St Johns Road.
However, Abbotswold had the 3rd worst website after Pathfinder Practice and Baldwins Lane Surgery.
Pathfinder Practice, in Oxhey Drive, was ranked as having the worst appointment times as well as having the hardest website to use.
Bridgewater Surgery, in Printers Avenue, Watford came out on top from the survey overall.
