Two people who robbed a jogger at knifepoint today (July 5) are being hunted by police.
Armed officers and a dog unit were called to Whippendell Wood on the outskirts of Watford following reports of a robbery.
It was reported at 10.45am (July 5) that a man was approached by two males while out running.

One of the males is said to have shown a knife and the victim’s watch was stolen. The robbers fled and the victim was uninjured.
Police flooded the scene, including officers from its armed and dog units, but no suspects have been traced at this time.
The first suspect is described as black, aged 16 to 18, around 6ft tall, of stocky build, with short hair worn in dreadlocks.
He was wearing a black hoodie, dark coloured shorts and black trainers.
The second male is described as being black, around 5ft 6in tall and was wearing a dark coloured top, tracksuit bottoms and trainers. Police have not given an estimated age for him at this time.
