A man who has now admitted damaging the rear window of a BMW will have to pay £100 a month for nearly a year.
Danny Lee, 58, changed his plea to guilty when he appeared in court on June 21 after previously denying he had intended to damage the car in Abbots Langley, or that he had been reckless as to whether it would be damaged.
Lee, of Cotlandswick in St Albans, appeared in St Albans Magistrates' Court where he was ordered to pay a fine of £270, compensation of £500, a £34 victim services surcharge and costs of £300.

He will now have to pay £100 pounds of his total £1,104 owed each month starting from July 19.

A man has been given a community order and ordered to pay £390 after he threatened and assaulted a man in Watford.
James Moore, 51, of Cotterells in Hemel Hempstead, was ordered to pay compensation of £50, a fine of £40 and costs of £300 when he appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court on June 20.
