A Watford man has avoided prison after taking two kitchen knives and stealing from a woman using threats.
Sueban Malik, 22, was in possession of two stolen knives from Cha Sha restaurant in Luton town centre on December 10 last year.
He also used threatening behaviour towards two women, stole cash from one of them, and was in possession of cannabis on the same day.

The Brightwell Road resident admitted to the charges and after appearing at Luton Magistrates' Court last week he was given 12 months' prison suspended for six months.
He was also ordered to pay a total of £381, which included £100 compensation, a £156 victim services surcharge, £85 costs and a £40 fine.
