A man has been charged with multiple sexual abuse offences against children.
Mohammed Shamim Sahinur, of Bucknalls Close, Garston, appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday (June 24).
The 28-year-old has been charged with the rape of a girl under 13, engaging in sexual communication with a child and five counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
He is also accused of one count of causing a child to watch or look at an image of sexual activity as well as a count of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching.
Sahinur was remanded in custody and is scheduled to next appear at St Albans Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on July 25.
