A man who invaded the privacy of a 14-year-old girl “in the most disgusting way” has been slapped with an indefinite restraining order.
Stewart Karol, who originally lived in Watford before moving to south Norfolk, was charged with voyeurism, an offence relating to indecent images, theft and breach of a non-molestation order.
The acts were carried out against a teenage girl from Watford.
Karol, 51, was sentenced to 19 months' imprisonment, suspended for 24 months, a barring and an indefinite restraining order after appearing at Norwich Crown Court on June 17.
He will also have to attend a sex offences programme, carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and sign the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.
The mother of the victim, who has been kept anonymous, said: "The sentencing has brought to an end the most terrible 15 months of our lives.”
She added: “He has violated her privacy in the most disgusting way, which has been extremely detrimental to her. We are both devastated."
