A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being involved in a crash yesterday (June 14).
Emergency services were called to Carpenders Park just after 6pm to reports of a collision between a black Yamaha motorcycle and a black Lexus.
It happened at the junction of Oxhey Lane and Carpenders Avenue.
An air ambulance was sent to the scene along with paramedics and police officers.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says the bike rider - a man in his 40s - was taken to hospital in an ambulance by road rather than air, but say he suffered “serious injuries”.
The driver of the Lexus remained at the scene and is helping police with enquiries.
Oxhey Lane was shut in both directions by police but reopened later in the evening.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the collision is asked to contact police on 101 or via herts.police.uk/report quoting reference ISR 662 of June 14.
