A serial thief has been jailed just over a week after he was given a suspended sentence for targeting supermarkets.
Bradley Chubb, of Berry Avenue in Watford, admitted stealing eight whiskey bottles worth £209.50 from St Albans’ Sainsbury’s on June 7.
He also pleaded guilty to assault on the same day.
It comes after Chubb was given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for a year on May 30 after repeatedly stealing from Watford supermarkets.

The 37-year-old previously nabbed £65 worth of alcohol from Waitrose, £279.75 of meat from Sainsbury’s and two bottles of wine from McColl’s.
He also stole wine from Iceland and admitted to threatening behaviour on the same day.
Chubb was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 7, where he was given 16 weeks’ prison for the latest theft.
His suspended sentence was also activated taking his total jail time to 28 weeks.
The offence was deemed serious due to his previous convictions.
