A cannabis factory in west Watford has been shut down by police.
Officers discovered 32 cannabis plants at a property in Whippendell Road last week.
Police say “expensive items” were also seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The cannabis factory was inadvertently discovered after a separate investigation into fraud in St Albans led them to the Watford address.
Hertfordshire Constabulary says a man and a woman have been trying to use fake passports to gain access to a bank account.
Tram Mai, 23, and Quy Vu, 27, both of Whippendell Road, Watford have each been charged with fraud and being concerned with the supply of a controlled drug (cannabis).
They have both been remanded in custody.
