A van driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash was at 7.13am this morning (June 13) in Verulam Road, St Albans, and involved a motorcycle and van.
Herts Police have appealed for witnesses and dash cam footage as they believe several people would have seen the events leading up to it.
Sergeant Timothy Davies said: “This was a serious collision on a busy road, which took place right before peak rush hour times.
“We believe that several people would have seen this collision taking place or witnessed the events leading up to it or immediately after.
“If you did, and have not yet been in contact with police, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
Information can be reported online or via non-emergency number 101.
