There is heavy traffic on the M25 after a crash this afternoon.
One lane was shut between junctions 16 and 17 in Maple Cross today (Friday June 10) following the incident at around 2.30pm.
National Highways reports that a car and a lorry had crashed into each other.
While the M25 was shut, it was estimated that there were seven miles of tailbacks.

All lanes are now opened after the vehicles were recovered, but there is still a knock-on effect, with a large stretch of the M25 still affected by heavy traffic.
While congestion is starting to ease, motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being until jams clear up.
