A Watford man has dodged prison after he admitted stealing hundreds of pounds worth of meat and several bottles of alcohol.
Bradley Chubb was ordered to pay over £1,000 for targeting several supermarkets, threatening behaviour and assault between April 2020 and March last year.
In July 2020 the Berry Avenue resident stole £279.75 worth of meat from Watford’s Sainsbury’s.

The same month he also took £65 worth of alcohol from the town’s Waitrose, and nabbed two bottles of wine from Cassiobury Drive’s McColl’s in March 2021.
The 37-year-old admitted to threatening behaviour in January last year and common assault in April 2020, as well as stealing wine from Watford’s Iceland the same day.
He was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates’ Court last week and given 12 weeks’ prison suspended for 12 months.
Chubb must also complete drug and rehabilitation requirements.
