To honour the Queen’s 70 years on the throne street parties took place across the UK with neighbours coming out to celebrate with each other, sometimes meeting for the first time.
In Devereux Drive, Cassiobury Park, 217 people attended its street party on June 4 between 12pm and 5pm.
The day consisted of eating homemade cakes, playing egg and spoon races and a raffle.
Organiser Flo Graham, who has lived on the road for 11 years, said: “It was the best thing to get the community together and watch people have lots of fun, from young children to the older residents.”
