A man died on the M25 near Watford, emergency services have confirmed.
The anticlockwise carriageway between junctions 19 and 18 was shut for around 90 minutes on Thursday, June 2, due to what had been described as a "police-led incident".
Following the closure, a Herts Police spokesperson said: "A vehicle pulled on the hard shoulder on the M25 between junctions 19 and 18 at 8.20pm after a male passenger became unwell.

"Despite the efforts of the road policing unit, ambulance and emergency medical helicopter, the man was pronounced deceased.
"The anticlockwise carriageway was closed for around 90 minutes."
The man was in his 60s and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
His next of kin have been informed, the spokesperson added.
