Boris Johnson “lacks integrity,” “he’s a disgrace” and should “resign” over his breaking of the Covid-19 lockdown rules, according to shoppers in Watford.
Watford Observer spoke to people in Watford town centre on Monday (May 30) to hear their views on the prime minister, after the long-awaited Sue Gray report was released on May 25.
Most people voiced their outrage at the Prime Minister’s breaking of Covid-19 lockdown laws.

Elaine Wilson said: “He’s an absolute disgrace.
“He lacks integrity, honesty, doesn’t have any kind of moral compass. He’s not fit to be prime minister.”
Jacqui from Rickmansworth echoed Ms Wilson’s view. She said: “Boris Johnson should not be prime minster. He should resign. He’s got no dignity or morals.”
And Bharti said she thought his behaviour was unfair on others who stuck to the rules.
However, she said she was unsure if Mr Johnson should step down. She said: “I’m not going to vote for the Conservatives at the next election. I am going to vote for Labour, but until then I don’t know if he should resign. They need to sort out the cabinet. If he goes what’s going to happen?”
Louisa wants Boris Johnson to step down. Her role working in education with special needs children has helped form part of her view.
She said: “I followed all the rules. I work in education, and I work with special needs children. I understand that families and people, vulnerable people stayed at home and all of them followed the rules. I think that as a leader of the country he should follow the rules too.”
Tom added: “I don’t think Boris should be in charge of this country.”
However, James Brown did not share the same views. He said: “In my opinion there were hundreds of thousands of people doing that, as far as I am concerned, he’s just one.
“Everybody is making a big issue because he is a senior celebrity, and they just want to hit him.”
