Emergency services flooded to Cassiobury Park to reports of concern for a man.
One member of the public reported that they saw at least seven police cars, some of which were parked in the park.
More police cars were parked at the Shepherds Road entrance as well as two ambulances and a paramedic car, they said.

According to the member of the public there were, “lots of police around”.
A Hertfordshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Police were called at 1.29pm today (Monday 30 May) to reports of concern for a man in Cassiobury Park. Officers remain at the scene."
